The City of St. Louis Refuse Division would like to remind residents that the trash and recycling collection schedule will be adjusted to accommodate the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 5, 2011.

Residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Mondays and Thursdays will have their trash or recycling collected on Tuesday, September 6th and Thursday, September 8th.

There will be no change for residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The yard waste collection regularly scheduled for roll carts on Wednesday, September 7th is canceled due to the holiday. Roll cart yard waste collection will resume on its regular schedule on Wednesday, September 14th.

For convenient reference, the Holiday Trash/Recycling Pickup Schedule is posted on the Refuse Division website at: http://stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/street/refuse/, where residents can also find answers to questions about remodeling and renovation, illegal dumping and businesses, bulky and B.O.A.T. (batteries, oil, appliances, tires) items, yard waste and Christmas trees, and recycling.
