Tower Grove East, I am very ex- cited to report I was sworn in as your new Alderman on April 16th. Thank you very much for your support of my campaign to

serve you here in the 6th Ward. For those of you who do not know me, I have been a resident of the Gate District for the past seven years and have been active in our neighborhood associa- tion, as well as the Sixth Ward Democratic Or- ganization. For the past few years, I’ve worked as the Director of Community Outreach for the ward.

In order to hit the ground running in April, I have been undertaking research on issues of importance to you and have also been busy meeting with leaders from various city depart- ments such as: the Mayor’s Office; President of the Board of Aldermen; City Streets; Building Division; Parks, Recreation & Forestry; and the Police Department.

Based on my time working with you over the years and the conversations I’ve had going door to door over the past few months, I know crime,

vacant properties, education and jobs are your top priorities. I consider my most important role as your Alderman to ensure I am turning your priorities into meaningful actions. To that end, I will be working closely with residents and my colleagues at City Hall to help create legisla- tion and programming to provide real solutions to our ward’s issues. I will make sure my time in office is transparent in its endeavors and always accountable to you.

As always, please feel free to reach out to me at any time and for any reason. I will do my best to get back to you within 24 hours and, if for some reason, you do not hear back from me, please try again. From time to time your messages may not be received or may be inadvertently overlooked, so please know I will never be knowingly unresponsive.

Thank you, again, for your confidence in me. I am looking forward to partnering with you to ensure the 6th Ward continues to move forward!

Best,

Christine
