The St. Louis Healthy Corner Store Project is accepting nominations for the 2012 program year.
Nominations will be accepted from City of St. Louis aldermen, neighborhood stabilization officers, nonprofit staff and community leaders. The nomination process requires the identification of both a neighborhood corner store and a community group. Through our pilot project, we found that community leadership and support of the corner store owner play a vital role in the success of the program. We plan to work with 12 corner stores and neighborhoods over the next three years, beginning with four stores in the 2012 program year.
