South Grand Back Lot Films Proudly Presents: Hugo on August 17, 2012 at sundown.

Hugo, is a  whimsical story about a witty,  orphaned boy, a mystery, and the people he meets along the way comes to our neighborhoods at South Grand’s Back Lot Films, a film series focusing on the movie adaptations of popular children’s books.

Hugo, based on the book  The Invention of Hugo Cabret, by Brian Selznick , and directed by Martin Scorcese, will surely capture the imagination all audience members.

Feel free to bring the whole family, and maybe pick up a snack on South Grand along the way….don’t forget your lawn chairs or blankets. Also, Carpenter’s Library will have a booth along with arts and crafts. Tower Grove Creamery will be on site again selling ice cream, popcorn, water, and soda.

All Back Lot Films start promptly at sun-down, and is located at 3500 Hartford, the South Grand Parking Lot.

This movie is rated PG and stars Asa Butterfield, Ben Kingsley, and Sacha Baron-Cohen.
