Located right here in our neighborhood across from Tower Grove Park, Tower Grove Manor is a historic retirement complex built in 1928. A gem for its unique terrazzo floor and pieced plaster ceiling, Tower Grove manor is also special because of its residents. One of them, Mrs. Lucy Hamm, will be turning 107 years old on January 30! We’ve been told, one of her secrets to longevity is “A love for beer!”

To help this Tower Grove East resident celebrate her special day, we will be collecting 107 birthday cards for Mrs. Hamm. Cards can be store bought or handmade, and we encourage both kids and adults to contribute!

How to be a part of her Birthday:

1. Buy or make a card for Mrs. Lucy Hamm.

  • Mrs. Hamm loves the color pink
  • Remember, she’s turning 107!

2. Drop off cards in one of the boxes around the neighborhood by 4:00 p.m. on January 28:
