There is a potential budget crisis looming for Tower Grove Park. The City’s Board of Estimate and Apportionment has reduced the Park’s budget for the fiscal year, starting July 1, down to $684,450. In Fiscal Year 2009, it was $750,000 and it was reduced to $715,000 and $694,450 the past two years. The Park says it can manage with the reduced amount, although it will be difficult. The City of St. Louis is proud to offer a wide array of free summer day camps. Long-term day camps will operate from June 13th through June 29th. These day camps are available for youths ages 7-12 and are provided on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. These camps will offer a variety of activities, including swimming, soccer, field trips, fishing, games, arts and crafts, movie days, etc.
