South Grand Business District partners with the American Red Cross to help the families affected by Hurricane Sandy. 16 businesses on South Grand will provide a canister from December 3rd -16th. Each participating business will provide a match on what is raised.
Rachel Witt, Executive Director of the South Grand Community Improvement District is truly touched by the generosity of the area businesses. She is from New Jersey and the area around her hometown of Brick, NJ has been greatly hurt by the hurricane. “I feel an obligation to help rebuild the beauty and greatness of the Jersey shore. Your donation will not be wasted and is urgently needed. New Jerseyans are a strong, no-nonsense, practical people that will use the money effectively to restore the shore,” states Ms. Witt.
