SUMMARY:2025 Annual Potluck Picnic
DESCRIPTION: UPDATE – We’re back on for this Tuesday\, September 30th!\n\nJoin us for TGENA’s Annual Potluck Picnic! We’ll be under the Sons of Rest Pavilion\, on the southeast corner of Tower Grove Park. Come enjoy an early Fall evening in the park with your neighbors. TGENA will be providing burgers\, brats\, and beer. Consider bringing a side or drinks to share!\n\nAs usual\, TGENA committee chair and officer candidates for the 2025-2026 term will be nominated during the picnic. Want to nominate someone but can’t make it to the picnic? Email us at nominations@towergroveeast.org. Elections will be held at our October General Meeting. Click here to see who was nominated.\n\nWe will continue to accept donations for a memorial grove dedicated to long-time TGENA board member Bill Gilbert during the picnic. Donate here or see any board member during the picnic if you’d like to make a donation in person.

SUMMARY:2024 Annual Potluck Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association members attending the annual picnic at Tower Grove Park nominated Tristan Mackenzie to run for president of the group in 2025. Mackenzie lives at Shenandoah and Tennessee above his business—Heritage Properties real estate business. \nMackenzie\, who said\, “We live in the best neighborhood in the city\,” also is on the board of managers at DeSales Community Development.  The current president is Chris Naffziger. \nAlso nominated to retain their offices were current treasurer Norah Ryan and current secretary Mary Anne Pikrone \nThe vote will take place at next month’s meeting on Tuesday\, Oct. 22\, at Stray Dog Theatre. \nAt the meeting\, Ways and Means Chair Bill Gilbert reported we made a total of $5\,649 at the Fourth of July beverage booth\, which was staffed by TGENA volunteers.
