Greetings, and welcome to Tower Grove East!

My name is Chris Naffziger, and I’m the President of the Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for fifteen years, and I’m proud to call our wonderful community home. It’s changed so much in the time since I bought my little bungalow on South Compton, and I’m happy that I’m continuing to see changes for the better. I believe our neighborhood association has been instrumental in advocating for better development, safer streets, and more responsive city services from our elected leaders and government.

Our neighborhood association works tirelessly as advocates because you, our residents, deserve to have the best community possible. Our neighborhood features amazing diversity, with residents whose families have lived here for generations, and new friends who just moved here from around the United States—and around the world. We’re one of only two neighborhoods in the St. Louis region who can call South Grand—with all of its incredible restaurants and shops—its home. And we’re the only neighborhood that can boast the International Institute of St. Louis where every day hundreds of immigrants come every day to work towards the American Dream. We also have two great public schools, Roosevelt High School and Shenandoah Elementary.
